Description: ATTN NW Hickory Residents --- We had two strays come up this morning to our house (Lakemont park area). They are mid-size dogs. Maybe 30-40 pounds. Fluffy/curly fur. One is gray/white and looks a bit like a sheep dog/terrier mix. The other is yellowish colored. Probably both mutts. Neither has a collar. They are friendly but skittish. Description: 2 dogs together-1 beagle/basset hound and 1 mid-size black/tan mix dog. Both pretty shy. The beagle is barking constantly and is searching all over the neighborhood for something-its owner??? Larger dog does not bark, is very protective of beagle and is looking out for her/him.
