 Description: ATTN NW Hickory Residents --- We had two strays come up this morning to our house (Lakemont park area). They are mid-size dogs. Maybe 30-40 pounds. Fluffy/curly fur. One is gray/white and looks a bit like a sheep dog/terrier mix. The other is yellowish colored. Probably both mutts. Neither has a collar. They are friendly but skittish. They were hungry and thirsty. I'm going to call the humane society if they are still around tonight. But if you know anyone missing dogs, let me know.    (4765)

 Description: A very sweet beagle with no collar is staying at the lower end of Thompson Cove Rd. near my mom's house. He is not at all car savy and is staying in the road. He plays well with the children across the street and leads well with a leash. My mom is elderly and cannot provide supervised care for him and the children's parent's are not happy they are feeding him. He needs his owner. There are other large german shephards in the neighbor hood who are tied but not fenced and they also don't want him to stay. He needs to go back home where he is safe.   (4085)

 Description: No collar; followed me from the golf course near the intersection of Elk Mtn Scenic Hwy and Inglewood for about the last mile of my run. Seems healthy and taken care of, maybe slightly overweight. Also appears to be accustomed to being inside, as he's been outside of every door and window of my house whining and pining -- very vocally -- to get in.   (3854)

 Description: Medium to long hair, but shorter hair on the tail. She is gray on top, but her breast and underbelly are white. Green eyes. Not afraid of humans, and shy at first but then affectionate-acts like a well-loved pet. Very vocal.    (3853)
